The North Dakota Housing Finance Agency oversees low-income rental housing developments located throughout North Dakota.
The Moderate Rehabilitation (Mod Rehab) Program provides rental assistance to qualified people who agree to live in specified housing locations. To learn more about the Mod Rehab program, or other income based rental properties in North Dakota, contact the agency. There are no fees to apply for rental assistance.
The Mortgage Loan Programs offer below market interest rate loans, and down payment and closing cost assistance to low to moderate income homebuyers including first-time homebuyers, the elderly, disabled, and single parent households. For more information, contact the agency or a participating lender.
The Rehab Accessibility Program (RAP) offers grant dollars for the renovation of properties occupied by lower income North Dakotans with physical disabilities. The assistance provided enables the qualifying tenants or homeowners to remove barriers and turn a house into an accessible and comfortable home. For more information about the RAP grant, call 701-328-8080 or 1-800-292-8621. Or go to the web site and click on Development.
