Description:
The Kinship-ND program supports kinship caregivers throughout North Dakota and aids them in finding resources and information to help as a kinship caregiver.
We help in 3 main ways:
• 1 on 1 support
• Assistance with resources and information based on needs
• Limited financial support We assist caregivers who have taken on the full-time care of a child who cannot remain in their home.
The caregivers need to:
*Be North Dakota residents
*Have full time care of children (child is living with you full time)
*Have a preexisting relationship with the child (grandparent, aunt/uncle, Godparent, best friends child, etc)
*Not be a licensed foster parent of the child
