Better Choices, Better Health is an interactive six-week workshop focused on helping individuals with chronic health conditions take control of their life. This evidence-based workshop teaches participants a variety of self-management tools to manage their chronic condition while connecting with others that are dealing with similar issues. Participants meet once a week for 2½ hour sessions in a virtual or community setting. There is no charge to attend.

Sanford Health offers three different versions of the Better Choices, Better Health workshops available for individuals 18 years and older:
1. Better Choices, Better Health: Chronic Conditions
For those with ongoing health conditions such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, heart disease, anxiety, depression, high blood pressure, diabetes, stroke, cancer, weight issues, or post-COVID symptoms. Caregivers are also welcome to attend.
2. Better Choices, Better Health: Diabetes
For those living with type 2 diabetes, prediabetes, or caring for someone with diabetes.
3. Better Choices, Better Health: Chronic Pain
For those living with ongoing pain or caring for someone with chronic pain.
