MATBUS (Fixed Route): MATBUS is the public bus system providing convenient, cost-effective city transportation in the metro areas of Fargo, Moorhead, West Fargo and Dilworth. MATBUS runs Monday – Saturday and offers 22 fixed routes. This system has designated bus stops, which means riders can be picked up and dropped off at any location marked with a MATBUS stop sign. These stops are also indicated on printed and online route maps. All fixed route buses have ramps, two wheelchair securement spaces, and bicycle racks. Cost to ride is $1.50/adult, $0.75/Discount (elderly, disabled, youth K-12 and Medicare card holders). Passengers may ride MATBUS for free if they are a child (preschool age or younger) or a service connected veteran.
MAT Paratransit: A door-to-door service providing transportation to individuals with disabilities who are unable to use the fixed route system independently. An application and verification is required to become eligible for the service. Rides need to be scheduled in advance and the cost to ride is $3.00 each way.
