South Central Adult Services serves the six county area of Barnes, Griggs, Foster, LaMoure, Logan, and McIntosh.
Services/programs provided include: Outreach, I & R, congregate meals, home delivered meals, frozen meals, transportation, shopping assistance, and escort service.
There is an emergency Food Pantry in Barnes County located at the Valley City center. Referral is preferred. May be made through a pastor, social service worker, outreach worker, etc.
South Central Adult Services operates the transit system in Emmons County.
Transit is also provided in Nelson County. Binford only has home delivered meals.
