Description:
Provides relief to victims of disasters and helps people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies. Services include short term shelter, food, clothing, and assistance with essential health care needs.
Emergency services to military families include assistance with communications when family emergencies occur (e.g. death, illness, births), emergency loans or other family support.
Provides training in First Aid, CPR and automatic external defibrillator, babysitting, and other health and safety courses.
Serves the counties of: Burleigh, Morton, Kidder, Emmons, Oliver, Grant, Sioux, Hettinger, Adams, Bowman, Slope, Golden Valley, Billings, Stark, and Mercer. Disaster services are free to victims of disaster (based on verification of loss and need).
Emergency military communications services are free. Anyone needing military emergency communications or military financial assistance should call 877-272-7337.
Fees for health and safety classes. Call the chapter for specific information regarding schedules and fee. Disaster training for the public and volunteers is free.
