NIA conducts and supports biomedical, social, and behavioral research on aging processes, diseases, and the special problems and needs of older people. NIA develops and disseminates publications on topics such as the biology of aging, exercise, doctor/patient communication, and menopause.
The Institute produces the Age Page - a series of fact sheets for consumers on a wide range of subjects including nutrition, medications, forgetfulness, sleep, driving, and long-term care.
