Description:
"As a voice for people who are homeless, the North Dakota Coalition for Homeless People coordinates and supports efforts to provide basic human needs and housing."
The North Dakota Coalition for Homeless People is a dynamic organization of service providers, joined together to work on the concerns of homelessness in our state. The Coalition believes that housing and other basic human needs should be within everyone's reach in an affordable and dignified manner. The vision is to be a statewide team of agencies collaborating to end homelessness. Accomplishing this vision requires assistance from every community in the state. Regional Homeless Coalitions provide resources within communities to help accomplish this vision. The Coalition established a statewide Continuum of Care plan for addressing homelessness. Through the Continuum of Care the Coalition identifies the needs of homeless individuals and families, improves the availability and accessibility of housing and services, and expands opportunities for the homeless to access mainstream resources.
