Description:
LSS Guardianship Options providing Guardianship/Conservatorship serves, by court appointment, vulnerable adults who need help making decisions regarding their health care, living situation and/or finances. As substitute decision-maker, LSS Guardianship Options serves adults with dementia, cognitive impairment, developmental disabilities, mental illness, chemical dependencies, and traumatic brain injury. As Guardians, they serve in the best interest of their clients - visiting with them regularly and working with medical and social supports and caregivers to ensure best care possible. When appointed Conservator, LSS secures assets, pays bills, and manages an individual's financial, real estate, and other assets.
LSS Guardianship Options Services are offered throughout Minnesota and eastern North Dakota. LSS Guardians and Conservators are trained and certified through the Center for Guardianship Certification - their standards of practice follow the National Guardianship Association standards of practice and they also serve members of the Minnesota Association of Guardianship and Conservators (MAGiC) and members of the Guardianship Association of North Dakota. LSS has been providing Guardianship/Conservatorship services since 1988.
Additional services provided are Power of Attorney, Representative of Estate, and Pooled Trust. For further information regarding services, please call 218-233-0759.
