NEHEP is a partnership of professional, civic, and voluntary organizations and Federal agencies. NEHEP provides referrals to vision professionals and other health resources. The program offers free materials to educate the public about how to protect eye health and prevent vision loss. Information on such topics as age related macular degeneration preventing diabetic eye disease, glaucoma and low vision are available for distribution.
