The NDSU Extension Service/Region VII Parenting Resource Center serves Region VII, a ten-county area, including: Burleigh, Emmons, Grant, Kidder, McLean, Mercer, Morton, Oliver, Sheridan, and Sioux. The NDSU Extension Service/Region VII Parenting Resource Center is a collaborative effort of NDSU Extension Service, Morton County, and the ND Department Of Human Services.
The Region VII Parent and Family Resource Center provides a prevention element through education, a lending library, and publication of the “Parenting Tips & Times” newsletter. Information about where services can be located regarding parenting and working with youth is provided upon request.
The Region VII Parenting adnd Family Resource Center maintains a free Lending Library of books, bulletins, cassettes, curriculums, games, pamphlets, children’s books, DVDs, and videos that are available for loan to anyone in Region VII with a desire to learn more about parenting and working with children.
