If you are having difficulty maintaining your home, their goal is to help you continue to be independent. DVR Vision Specialists may be able to teach you new ways to perform tasks such as:
Writing checks
Reading
Mobility around the home and community
Telling time
Using a computer
Ordering from a menu
Homemaking tasks
An individual may qualify for:
A property tax exemption
An income tax deduction
Telephone directory assistance
Talking books
Radio reading services.
DVR Vision Specialists will help explore these benefits and provide referrals to other programs. Older Blind services are provided in the home. Our Vision Specialists are available to answer your questions and provide assistance.
