NDAD is a charitable, non-profit organization that assists people with disabilities and chronic health conditions in North Dakota and direct state-bordering communities. Programs and services include a direct financial assistance program for medical necessities (prescription medications, out of town medical travel, medical equipment and supplies, home and vehicle accessibility, dial-a-ride/paratransit, personal attendant care, and adaptive recreational activities), no charge, short term healthcare equipment loan program, free accessible van loan program (Grand Forks and Minot offices only), community fund raising assistance, support services for adults with mental illness and/or substance abuse issues, and adaptive recreational events. NDAD administers the North Dakota Organ Transplant Fund. Information and referral services are also available.
