Description:
The Committee on Aging is the designated advisory committee for Aging Services Division. Membership consists of at least 14 members, preferably one from every region of the state, one from each of the four American Indian reservations and one Indian Service Area. Members are appointed by the Governor to serve a three-year term. In addition to representing and advocating for older individuals in their respective regions, the committee sponsors periodic education forums that provide for mutual exchange of ideas and information on national, state and local issues to improve the lives of North Dakotans as they age.
