Provides a variety of services to patients affected by cancer. Services include free wigs, turbans, mastectomy bras, and breast prosthesis.
Programs are free and vary by location. Programs include a class to address side effects of cancer treatment, visitation program for newly diagnosed breast cancer patient, transportation to and from treatment, and lodging. The Society also provides education, information, and referral services.
Anyone wishing to make a donation to the American Cancer Society may send it to the Fargo office. Volunteers are needed to assist with office tasks and programs. Interested persons can call the office.
