The New Life Center is the largest service provider for homeless men in the Fargo-Moorhead community with programs that are designed to assist the individual to a place of self-sufficiency and independence. The New Life Center is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The New Life Center provides hot, nutritious meals three times a day, Monday through Friday and a brunch and supper on Saturday and Sunday. A food pantry for Traveler's Aid families is also provided. The New Life Center provides a safe, warm place for homeless people to stay. There is a 63 bed dormitory style shelter plus 22 private rooms for long term residents as well as 11 semi-private cubicles for a capacity of 106. The facility is handicapped accessible. There is a Veteran's Homeless Healthcare Program with residential accommodations on-site. A free clinic is conducted on-site weekly. Job placement is conducted through a job search on site. Referrals to other agencies are provided. AA & NA meetings are held weekly. The New Life Thrift Store provides for the immediate needs of the individual, in addition to offering the public quality used clothes, furniture, and other household items. Spiritual programs, including evening chapel services, daily devotions and Bible studies are available for all to attend, but are not mandatory. Visit the web site for further information.
