Faith in Action Health Coalition is based out of Cavalier serving Pembina County residents. Our services are provided by trained volunteers who provide the following services: transportation to and from scheduled appointments, minor home repairs such as changing light bulbs and batteries in smoke/carbon monoxide detectors, telephone reassurance, visiting, respite, shopping for or with them, light housework or light yardwork on a short term basis, and meal preparation.
Faith in Action has been active in the Pembina County going on 16 years providing the above services. Fundraising events, memorials and donations help make our transportation service strong. A stipend is paid to our drivers who are willing to drive the long distance travels. Those trips range anywhere from 50 miles to 450 round trip to and from medical appointment.
